- She said it was “A high tension, page turner of a science fiction book. Plenty of adversity for the main character to survive…or not…I’m not going to tell you either way! It highlights some controversial moral questions about how far the lines of right and wrong get blurred in times of great adversity.”

- One of the Carnegie short listed books is Wonder by Palacio – I think that is good
- The other book I really like is Milkweed by Spinelli – a WW2 story
- A real favourite of mine is I am David by Anne Holm (I think)
- There is also a great book called Exodus by Julia Bertagna – set in the future when climate change has made life really difficult for people
